Career Changed

“Career change” dogs are those dogs released from the Guide Dogs for the Blind program for a variety of reasons. They usually become loving pets or companions. Some career change dogs go on to alternate careers such as obedience work, search and rescue, agility, hearing dog or service dog training, tracking, or pet therapy. If you are interested in adopting a career change puppy, please visit the Guide Dogs for the Blind placement page.
