After 4 - 6
months of intense harness training and stringent physical exams these
former pups are now carefully matched with a visually impaired partner.
The newly formed teams will train together for 2 - 4 weeks at a Guide
Dog for the Blind campus. Graduations are held for the new teams with
puppy raisers given the privilege of formally presenting their pup to
his/her new partner. |
